Radio Voices Session 9 6.21.7

Hola Listeners,

For Session #9 my guests were Jay Unidos of Urban Guerilla Zine and Chinese Lunch Special & The True D of The Sweet Nothings, David Benjamin, Safeway, Gamelan Sari Raras and Isabellas.

I talked with Jay about his zines and about upcoming bands at Gilman where Jay is one of the bookers. We played tracks from Code of Honor, A.D.T., Eskapo, WTD, and Ludicra.

True D performed a number of songs live and we played a number of tracks from his many musical projects.

Radio Voices Session 8 6.14.2007

Hola Listeners,

For Session #8 my guests were the band Medoucha. The four piece of Harp/Drums/Guitar/Vocals performed live on the air multiple songs from their upcoming album.

They joined me for the latest incarnation of Chester Carlson's Army as I told "Fiero GT" (Orignally appearing in the pages of "Not My Small Diary").

Inbetween performances I played a ton of James Brown.

For Session #7 my guests were Form & Fate and Anthony Delaney. Anthony played 4 songs live on the air. Three of the members of Form & Fate and Anthony were inducted into Chester Carlson's Army and improvised while I told the story "Night of The Living Drag Queens". I played a number of songs from Form & Fate's latest album "The Form and Fate of Lakes".
